I play bass in a few bands and I'd like to think I'm not too shabby. Mostly basement jams and the like, but you have to start somewhere. i tend to gravitate towards rock music, but to be honest i'll enjoy anything that's good music. This approach extends to my bass playing and i'll happily play anything from death metal, to poprock, to afrobeat.

My main influences as a bassist are strong melodic players like John entwhistle (the who) or James jamerson (motown). I've also dabbled in slap and other things, but my main style is definately finger plucking.

I've also done some songwriting in my time, some of which might appear on here.

Overall, I'm not in it to try and release my own music here, but if your song needs a funky bassline, I'll be happy to help.
